About Us

Pashwood Shetland Sheepdogs was established in 2002.  We are located in Dillsburg, PA.  We breed mainly sable and white shelties.  Our goal in breeding is to produce puppies with good health, beautiful type, correct structure and good temperaments.  We breed approximately 1-2 litters per year. 

Our puppies are raised in our house.  We pride ourselves on how well socialized our puppies are.  They are each handled daily by multiple people from day 1.  Once they are mobile they are introduced to other dogs including large dogs.  We have 3 Champion samoyeds that also live with us and they love the sheltie puppies.  The puppies are also taken with me to the school I teach at when they are 8 weeks old and are played with by 50+ 3-5 year old children.  Our puppies also travel in the motor home with us when we go to dog shows.

We attend approximately 4-8 dog shows per month.  We mainly show in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.  My daughter Heather does the majority of the showing.  We usually travel in our motor home.  The dogs love to travel and spend the night at the show sites.
